Directions:

    Apply our sheer zinc mineral sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure. Wear alone or layer over your favorite Biossance serum and your favorite moisturizer. It can also be used in place of your moisturizer. Perfect under makeup. Reapply as necessary.

Leading Ingredients

Zinc Oxide 14%: Non-nano, non-toxic and reef-safe, this mineral sunscreen agent protects the skin’s outer barrier to reflect damaging UVA and UVB rays.

  • SQUALANE: Derived from sugarcane, it mimics body's natural hydrating oils to provide weightless moisture to deliver active ingredients deep into the skin and prevent overdrying.
  • Water Lily: Cools and calms skin after UV exposure and heat stress.

All Ingredients:

Zinc Oxide 14%, Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Squalane, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Methyl Dihydroabietate, Sorbitan Olivate, Coco-Glucoside, Cetyl Palmitate, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Nymphaea Alba Flower Extract, Acacia Senegal Gum, Ethyl Ferulate, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Gluconate, Lecithin, Sodium Palmitoyl Proline, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Isostearic Acid.

  • Our sunscreen is mineral-based instead of containing chemical sunscreen agents. What this means is that instead of penetrating into the skin and absorbing damaging rays, Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen disperses reflective minerals onto the skin, reflecting the rays away from the skin. In addition, studies indicate that some chemical UV filters may mimic hormones, and physicians report sunscreen-related skin allergies, which raises important questions about unintended human health consequences from frequent sunscreen application (source, EWG). Our goal is to create a sunscreen that protects the skin without causing unnecessary concerns.

  • Mineral sunscreens use Zinc and Titanium, to reflect UV Rays, whereas chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays.

  • Zinc Oxide offers broad spectrum protection and blends in more easily for all skin tones.

  • Typically we recommend moisturizer and SPF. This can replace a moisturizer as it provides protection with hydration so it is perfect for a minimalist routine. If you prefer to use a regular moisturizer as well, be sure to use that first followed by the sunscreen.

  • No, this does not protect against blue light.

  • PA+++ refers to a measure of protection against UVA rays. Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen is broad spectrum and protects against both UVA & UVB rays.

  • This is your daily sunscreen. If you are going to be in and out of water, make sure you reapply. It is not water resistant.
    • As stated in the Drug Facts panel: "Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming"

I really like this sunscreen

I have very fair skin so I apply sunscreen religiously. I like this one a lot, it doesn't have a scent and it doesn't leave that white cast color on my skin. It also wears well under makeup. This is my second time purchasing this and I think I will continue to do so in the future.

But seriously...yas queen. I've never put much time into my skin, but my wife who uses your products was saying that now that I'm in my mid-30s, I really need to put more effort into it. The gentleman I spoke to on the chat was super helpful and so far the products feel great and have already reduced some redness I was experiencing.

Sheerest and lightest mineral sunscreen

I love this sunscreen. It is by far the lightest and sheerest of mineral sunscreens that I’ve tried. This does not clog my skin like others do and really feels like I can wear it on a daily basis.
